  • Dominating Green Hydrogen Capacity
By late 2024, China accounted for roughly 50% of global green hydrogen production capacity, with around 48,000 tonnes per year added in 2024 alone.

  • Surging Electrolyzer Manufacturing
China now holds 60% of global electrolyzer production capacity, thanks to decades of industrial experience and cost efficiencies. Six of the world's top ten electrolyzer manufacturers are Chinese.

Hydrogen, as a new energy source, boasts diverse sources, clean, low-carbon, flexible, and efficient characteristics. It can facilitate the large-scale consumption of renewable energy, enabling large-scale peak load regulation for power grids and cross-seasonal and cross-regional energy storage. Currently, China continues to issue favorable policies for hydrogen energy, and the hydrogen energy industry continues to develop.
